The scope for this project was to connect three separate buildings built in the 1920’s; two duplex residences and a two-story garage with an apartment into a single residence. We converted the existing 3,065 SF building into 4,212 SF by demolishing the middle garage and building a new two-story structure in its place, connecting the buildings together.

Designed to be an extension of the home, the 858 SF modern outdoor kitchen was built along the exterior side of the garage next to the existing pool. The trim, door hardware, and paint/stain selections were all used within the existing home and brought outside to this space to create a consistent look and feel.

The 1,321 SF Modern Bungalow style pool house was designed to mimic the style of homes seen throughout the Pacific Northwest. The exterior features antique brick, v-groove porch ceilings, gas lanterns, and an outdoor shower.
